Quality Enclosures to Expand Albemarle, NC Facility

Albemarle, NC (Stanly County): Sarasota, Florida-based Quality Enclosures announced today that it will be expanding its facility in Albemarle by creating approximately thirty-six (36) new jobs within the next five (5) years and investing $1.475 million in real and business personal property.

Governor Cooper Announces Eight Grants to Rural Communities to Attract 120 New Jobs and over $365 Million in Private Investment

Stanly County: A $90,000 grant will support the 4,000-square-foot expansion of an existing building in Locust. The building is currently occupied by Flextol, a family-owned company that specializes in fabrication of jacketed valves, pipe flexible metal hoses, and PTFE (polytetrafluoroethylene) hose and expansion joints. The company expects to create 11 jobs and invest $329,645 in this project.

O.B. Builders to Relocate to Stanfield, NC

Stanfield, NC (Stanly County): O.B. Builders has selected Riverstone Industrial Park in Stanfield, North Carolina to construct a new manufacturing facility. The project will create eleven (11) new jobs in addition to relocating forty-seven (47) employees and will generate over $6.7 million in new taxable investment over the next five (5) years

CT Commercial Paper to Expand Oakboro, NC Facility

Oakboro, NC (Stanly County): CT Commercial Paper Company, LLC, a full-service tissue and towel converter,
announced it will be expanding its production operation in Stanly County. Founded in 1999, CT Commercial
Paper operates three facilities in Stanly County, and plans to invest over $1,500,000 in machinery and
equipment and create eight (8) new jobs at its South Main Street location in Oakboro.

New Finish to Expand Norwood, NC Facility

Norwood, NC (Stanly County): New Finish, Inc. a powder and e-coating, sandblasting, and painting service provider, will be expanding its facility in Norwood by creating approximately twenty (20) new jobs within the next five (5) years and investing $3.5 million in real property and machinery and equipment.

United Protective Technologies, LLC Celebrating Twenty Years in Business

United Protective Technologies (UPT), a specialty thin film coating and engineering company opened its doors for business in 2002 with only two employees in Mint Hill. After relocating to Locust in 2008, UPT has grown dramatically and now has fifty-nine employees, the majority of which reside in Stanly County. UPT also currently has office/lab space on the campus of UNC (CLT) and will be opening a location in Youngstown, Ohio set for 2023.

Global Packaging Solutions to Expand Albemarle Facility

Albemarle, NC (Stanly County): Global Packaging Solutions, Inc. who provides quality short run flexible
packaging, pressure sensitive labels and folding cartons for clients in a wide variety of industries, will be
expanding its operations in Albemarle, NC and adding four (4) jobs and investing $1.5 million in machinery and equipment within the next 12 months.

Industrial Products, Conveyors & Drives (IPCD) to Expand Operations in Richfield, North Carolina

Richfield, NC (Stanly County): Industrial Products, Conveyors & Drives, Inc., an industry leader in conveyor systems and replacement components in the southeast, has announced plans to expand its operations in Stanly County. The expansion will result in approximately $2.1 million in new taxable investments in real property improvements and machinery and equipment. The project will create twenty (20) jobs within five (5) years to expand their manufacturing, sales, and distribution facility.
